First of all, welcome to my new updated little home on the internet, I am so glad you are here!! This website remodel has been a LONG TIME COMING and has not been a walk in the park! Between editing weddings, newborns, and engagement sessions all winter, getting this blog up and running has fallen to the bottom of my to-do list time and time again. Now that I’ve found a spare second, I can’t wait to get caught up on some past sessions, weddings, and everything else!
Jeremy and Sarah had a vision for their fall engagement session that included a little bit of vintage, a touch of retro, a classic car, a dirt road, and a whole lot of love! I LOVE when a couple incorporates things or places of meaning to them in their engagement session. Sarah and Jeremy’s session was held at their new (old) farm site that has been in Jeremy’s family for years. They are working hard together to remodel and update the home, and it will also be where their wedding is held. The classic car is a tribute to Jeremy’s late father, and Sarah’s dress belonged to her grandmother. I am fortunate to have had other opportunities to photograph Jeremy and Sarah together prior to this session and here’s what I know: Sarah is downright stunning all the time, but her heart is straight up gold. I think Jeremy would say he hates getting his picture taken, but honestly he’s so easy to photograph because every time he looks at Sarah he literally beams. She makes him laugh whenever he’s getting distracted, and then the sound of his laughter lights her up. It is truly incredible to be around these two- I am thrilled for their wedding this fall!
